College Goal Sunday 2024

Sunday, February 25th, 2024 – 2pm (Local Time)

College Goal Sunday is a program that helps college-bound Indiana students, who qualify for undergraduate admission to a college or technical school, and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  College Goal Sunday provides assistance from financial aid experts, primarily from Indiana colleges and universities.

Why It’s Important

Most colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools in the nation require students seeking federal financial aid, including grants and loans, to complete the FAFSA.  The FAFSA form must be received by the federal processor on or before April 15th to be considered “on-time” for Indiana state grant funding.  21st Century Scholars are required to complete and submit a FAFSA form to claim their 21st Century Scholarship.  College Goal Sunday will help all college-bound students complete the FAFSA properly.

College Goal Sunday will take place at 2 p.m. (Local Time), Sunday, February 25th, 2024.  The event will be held at locations across the state and begin promptly at 2 p.m. (Local Time).  To find the location nearest you, visit https://collegegoalsunday.org/locations/.

Please note: Due to changes to the 2024-2025 FAFSA the Department of Education has delayed the opening of the FAFSA until December 2023, because of that there will only be one College Goal Sunday event this season. The College Goal Sunday Team plans to return with 2 events again in the future.

Now in its 35th year, College Goal Sunday is a charitable collaboration involving the Indiana Student Financial Aid Association (ISFAA), in cooperation with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.  College Goal Sunday is co-funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. and INvestEd.
